The practice has a quality management system (QMS) that complies in full with BS EN ISO 9001. Our QMS is mature and well developed over many years, and is based on continuous improvement. The practice is third-party certificated under BS EN ISO 9001 by a UKAS-accredited certification body (ISOQAR).
In accordance with our standard quality procedures, all reports are independently checked by a director or senior consultant within the practice prior to dispatch.
Gold Approval signifies that in addition to compliance with industry specific Standards, a Company operates a Quality Management System and is compliant with BS EN 9001.

It is our policy that consultants undertaking fire risk assessments are either listed on the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) Register of Fire Risk Assessors and Auditors, or on the tiered Register of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM). All of those undertaking fire risk assessments are either listed or, in the case of the most recently employed consultants, have applied to one of these registers. Persons listed on the registers must have demonstrated their competence to the satisfaction of the professional body that operates the register. These registers can be viewed at Fire Risk Assessors (FRA) Register (ife.org.uk) or Fire Risk Assessors – IFSM.
The practice was certificated in 2013 by the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) under the UKAS accredited scheme for companies that carry out fire risk assessments, BAFE SP205.
The practice is a FireQual Approved Training Centre and able to deliver Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) regulated qualifications.
Our suite of Fire Safety enforcement qualifications support the development of the knowledge and skills under the statutory duties for fire safety enforcement.
These qualifications are provided in Scotland and are designed to cover the necessary training for Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) personnel enabling the fire authority to meet their statutory duties.
