A comprehensive one day fire risk assessment refresher training event, based on England and Wales legislation, following amendments to legislation and guidance subsequent to Phase 1 and 2 of the Public Inquiry, into the tragic fire and loss of life at Grenfell Tower.
The course includes some of the latest hazards and risks and their implications on fire risk assessment.
This course is intended to provide an update for delegates who have previously received training in fire risk assessment. The course is accredited with 6 FIA CPD hours and 6 IFSM CPD hours.

- Have an awareness of some trending fire hazards and their elimination or control measures.
- Receive an update and overview on PAS 79 – 1 & 2 and BS 9792:2025.
- Receive an update on the general fire safety guidance and an overview of the status of LGA guidance – Fire Safety in Purpose-Built Blocks of Flats.
- Have discussed competence standards and certification/registration for fire risk assessors.
This course can be delivered as an in-house course and is sometimes run as a public course.
